Jason Mraz proved that our Xenophilia bandmate, Amy Anne, knows a great vocalist when she hears one last Friday night at the True Love Coffeehouse. Our set was tight and I developed an appreciation for Anton Barbeau as well. Xeno nailed the complex guitar lead on his tune, "Salvador Dali." Amy had the audience in the palm of her hand with the theatrical rendition of her new song, "Johhny Depp."

GG Amos knocked my socks off as a bandleader and performer at a bar called Louie's in Rancho Cordova Saturday night. It was my first date as the bassist for the Magic Band. This looks to be a unit I may be doing a lot of work with in the future. My paisano, "Neutron Nicky" Kantar is the drummer and it's fun to be in the rhythm section with a mate.

My friend, Fisher Mathews, from the group Luckbucket guested with me at church Sunday morning on a new song we arranged together. I'm lucky to have this caliber of musician come play with me for the love of it. His band will be playing on the steps of the state capitol in a rally for W.E.A.V.E. tomorrow along with our friend Sage Daily, whom I will be accompanying on guitar at 5pm.

Peace,
Hence
